Pateo Albufeira - Villa

I’m going to admit this is only the second house I’ve been to on the beach, but it’s literally a 3 min walk out the private road and down the shared beach access pass, and it was absolutely amazing.

The pool is large with sea views, the outdoor dining are is covered with an awning with sea views. Great appliances including a microwave that microwaves and does Convection at the same time.

We ordered Uber eats most nights and the food was great. One tip: write detailed instructions for them to find the house because it’s on a private road.

We heated the pool which takes about 2 days to get up to temp and it was a great idea. Can’t say enough about it. Wonderful

Very spacious villa with 5 bedrooms and bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen, everything you need is available (microwave, oven, toaster, coffeemaker etc.). On the terrace is a big table for at least 8-10 people (much more chairs are available). Beautiful view to the ocean from the terrace. BBQ is available outside on the terrace. The pool is spacious as well and heating is available and very well-functioning. A lot of equipment for sun-bathing and relaxing is available around the pool (incl. table tennis). Every room is well cleaned (cleaning is done every second/third day). Maintenance of the villa is as well very good.

We stayed in this villa for 2 weeks with our extended family. We all had a great time. The pool is first class and a real focal point of the property - it can heated too which encouraged everyone to get in at one timeanother and meant the kids were in for hours. The villa has two BBQs - both charcoal, and plenty of outside seating, so once the sun had gone behind the trees and the air cooled a bit we were able to eat outside every night. One quibble was that the place needs more plastic plates and glasses for use by the pool. The bedrooms are all en suite and the bathrooms have recently been renovated to a high standard - most with walk-in showers which were great for the older members of our party. The villa has aircon in all living and sleeping spaces which was also appreciated. The villa is managed by a local hotel/beach club and was cleaned and the sheets/towels changed several times a week by an efficient team of staff. The staff on the reception of the hotel were very responsive to any issues that arose. The kitchen is quite small, as can be seen from the photos on the website. It is though well-equipped and there is an extra long fridge and freezer in the utility room so no storage issues. If you owned the villa you would explore knocking the kitchen through to the sitting room area, but again for a couple of weeks this was not a huge problem, especially as we used the BBQ extensively. We hired a car. Parking by the villa was great but due to the nearby beach (it is one minute's walk downhill) the route to the villa was often made very narrow by badly parked cars. Again a quibble and no fault of the owners. The beach is sandy and clean, and less packed than at the Albufeira end. It's about a 20 minute walk along the beach to the town, where there are great local restaurants scattered around the older sections, as well as the nightlife down at beach level. We all agreed we would stay there again, which is probably to best recommendation one could make.

We really loved the stay, the villa is very well kept, with everything you need for self catering. The welcome pack was a nice touch, as well, just what you need after the travel. The pool is cleaned daily and after 3 days we had cleaners to clean the house entirely and changed all the beds and towels, can't ask for more The staff from Monica Isabel are very nice and helpful. Short walk to the strip and old town. We loved everything, we are sad we left and we'll be back for sure. Thank you for the stay!! We're looking forward to the next one.
